Who we are

Tamed Spaces is a trading name of LAJ Holdings Ltd, registered in England & Wales, company number 17166631 ("we", "us"). We're the data controller for the personal data described here. Contact: hello@tamedspaces.co.uk.

What we collect

If you join the waiting list, we collect your first name, your email address and, if you choose to tell us, the kind of space you're trying to tame. We also record when you signed up and when you confirmed.

If you email us, we receive your email address and whatever is in your message.

Like any website, the server keeps short-lived technical logs of requests, which include your IP address and browser type. They're used only to keep the site running and secure.

The site has no analytics, advertising or tracking, and sets no cookies. If that changes, we'll update this notice and ask for your consent first.

Why, and the lawful basis

We use your waiting list details to email you when we launch, to send your free sample pack offer, and to tell you about Tamed Spaces in the meantime. The lawful basis is your consent, which you give by joining and confirming your email address. The kind of space you tell us about helps us decide what to make first.

You can withdraw your consent at any time with the unsubscribe link in any of our emails, or by emailing us. We never sell or share your details for anyone else's marketing.

Who else sees it

Our emails are sent by Resend, and our inbox is provided by Migadu. The site and its database are hosted on a server with DigitalOcean in London. These providers process data for us and only on our instructions.

How long we keep it

If you don't confirm your email address, your sign-up is deleted after 30 days. Once confirmed, we keep your details until you unsubscribe, when they're deleted straight away, or until we stop using the waiting list. Server logs are overwritten automatically, usually within a few weeks.

Your rights

You can ask for a copy of the personal data we hold about you, ask us to correct or delete it, or object to how we use it. Email hello@tamedspaces.co.uk and we'll respond within one month.

If you're unhappy with how we've handled your data, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk), though we'd appreciate the chance to put it right first.
