A hallway that's not a shoe pile.
Hallways are narrow, landings are odd shapes, and standard furniture is either too deep or too wide. Ours is made to the depth and width you've actually got, so it stores more and still lets you past.
Start from one of these.
Each one opens ready to design. Change the sizes to yours.
Tall cupboard
Full-height doors: shallow for halls, deeper for everything else.
Shoe bench
Somewhere to sit and somewhere for the shoes, made to fit by the door.
Open shelving unit
Open shelves to any width and height.
Low cupboard
Waist height, with a top that doubles as a shelf.
Wall-hung shelves
A shelf box fixed to the wall, clear floor below.
Radiator cover
A vented front and a solid shelf on top.
Leave room to get past.
- WidthWall to wall if it's a recess, or the length of wall you want to use. Look out for door frames and radiators.
- Depth you can spareMeasure the hallway width, then decide how much you can give up. Most people want at least 800mm left to walk through.
- HeightFloor to ceiling for a tall cupboard, or to just under a light switch or a coat hook for a bench.
Every millimetre of depth counts.
Off-the-shelf hall units come in one or two depths. In a narrow hall, 50mm too deep is the difference between tidy and squeezing past. Choose the depth to suit your hall and the piece is made to it.
How shallow can it be?
Shallow enough for shoes stood heel to wall. Each piece shows its limits as you design.
Will it fit up my stairs to the landing?
Yes. It arrives flat and you build it where it's going.
What if my walls aren't straight?
Most aren't. Measure in three places and give us the smallest. For a fitted piece we take 50mm off so it slides in, and send infill panels to close the gap.
Can I see the colours first?
Yes. Our sample pack has our colours and a cut edge, so you can see them in your own light before you order.
